Popular Nigerian content creator Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, better known as Isbae U, has revealed that he would love to host United States President Donald Trump on his viral interview platform, Curiosity Made Me Ask.
The comedian disclosed this during an appearance on The Morayo Show, hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown, where he discussed his career journey, the idea behind his interview series and some of the challenges he has faced in the public eye.
Explaining the concept behind Curiosity Made Me Ask, Isbae U said the show was created to present celebrities from a different perspective and reveal sides of their personalities that audiences rarely see.
“The idea of Curiosity Made Me Ask is to show you another part of this celebrity you’ve not seen,” he said.
When asked which personality he would like to feature next on the show, the content creator responded:
“I would like to interview Trump.”
Isbae U also reflected on a difficult period in his career in 2022 following controversy surrounding allegations involving him, saying the experience made him question whether his career would survive.
He recalled seeking advice from fellow entertainer Mr Macaroni during the period, admitting that public reactions affected him deeply.
“2022 was a tough time for me. It was the first time I was going through something like that, and then I asked Mr Macaroni, ‘Is this the end?’” he said.
According to him, the experience taught him how quickly public perception could change.
“You never know how powerful people are in your life until they turn their backs on you,” he added.
The content creator said he responded to the backlash by withdrawing from unnecessary public attention, focusing on personal growth and improving his craft.
“All I did was focus on doing better, getting better at my craft and becoming a better person. I focused on giving them entertainment.”
He said he stopped sharing much about his personal life and concentrated on creating quality content for his audience.
In 2022, entertainment blog GistLover published allegations involving Isbae U, including claims about explicit video calls and payments. The content creator later issued a public apology over the controversy.
