Mohamed Salah Completes Free Transfer To Trabzonspor

Mohamed Salah has officially joined Turkish Süper Lig side Trabzonspor, signing a two-year contract after leaving Liverpool as a free agent.

The Egyptian forward completed the move on Thursday, ending months of speculation over his future following the expiration of his contract at Anfield earlier this summer.

According to Sky Sports News, “Mohamed Salah has now signed his two-year contract with Trabzonspor. The former Liverpool winger joins on a free transfer after departing Anfield.”

Salah leaves Liverpool as one of the club’s greatest players, having spent nine seasons at Anfield, where he won the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and several other major trophies while scoring hundreds of goals.

The 34-year-old received a rousing welcome from hundreds of supporters upon his arrival in Istanbul ahead of the transfer, with his signing regarded as one of the biggest in Trabzonspor’s history.

Trabzonspor hope Salah’s experience, leadership and goalscoring ability will strengthen their domestic title ambitions and European campaigns.
