FFK Knocks Momodu Over Tinubu-Abacha Comparison

Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode, has criticised Dele Momodu for comparing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to that of late military ruler Sani Abacha.

Momodu made the remark during an appearance on Politics Today on Channels Television, where he warned that Tinubu could become a “potential dictator.”

Reacting in a post on X on Monday, Fani-Kayode said Momodu’s comments showed “cognitive dissonance,” adding that the publisher appeared “drained and tired.”

He also dismissed the African Democratic Congress as unprepared for serious politics and urged Momodu to leave the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress.
